Normal Butyl Acetate

Alternative Names: n-Butyl Acetate;  Butyl Ethanoate

An organic compound commonly used as a solvent and in the production of lacquers, paints and other products. It is a colorless flammable liquid of low viscosity. The liquid dissolves relatively easily in water. The Butyl Acetate/water solution is used where reduced volatility is required.
